Does it have the stock gears or the 1.62 they offer?
    Raised 7000 Limiter?
If this is the Hydro Tec conned lower "I'm sure it is" you are good in the trips.

Gee, that sounds like fun. Drove some 100 mph Allison’s. Never a Champion though. Make sure your steering cables are in perfect condition. I will say a prayer for you!

Stock gears with raised limiter to 7000.

Wayne was going to take it off his boat on Friday. I should have it hopefully by Wednesday. I can’t wait to test a few props. There’s going to be a learning curve for me just to open it up and trim it out to see what it really needs.

Good luck with it. Time for a legit 100mph+ life jacket and take your time with the new learning curve.

Probably don't need to say this but I hate to see anyone make the same dumb mistakes I've made.
Like mentioned get yourself a good lifeline preserver. That can save your life.
Do NOT wear a motorcycle helmet, they'll kill you in a microsecond. If you get pitched, water gets under the helmet and literally pulls your head off.
At 90, stuff happens really quick. Under the proper circumstances I can see a 202 do a blow over. High and flat is fast, bow lift past the horizon looks cool, but it's not faster.
Everyone needs one boat in their life that scares them a little. I'm pretty sure you're there now.

I check in for the first time in a while and someone is trying to reset the record book. That ought to be a fun new ride. I'd slap some 225 logos on the SHO. Nothing like a sleeper.

    Stay safe,

That would be proper. I never ran legit decals on mine, you just have to show a little self control, ease past them, never suck them up in your wake.

I will add if you have a Hydraulic jack plate and you get into trouble when you are running a big number lower that first before you cut the throttle or drop the trim, cutting throttle and dropping the trim brings the bow down and that can get you into trouble at speed. Lifeline makes a great life jacket to protect you from impact to chest side and back, be sure to look up the model you want for the protection you need. Have fun and be safe.

All great advice! Thanks Champion family! Believe me... I'm going to "ease" into this.

You'd have more self control than I would. 3-4 minutes would be about my ease time.
