    Lifting a bf225

Got a new bobs action jackplate coming and had a quick question. Lifting my 225, I see there are 3 bracket locations and my service manual mentions an engine hanger part with which to hook chains to, is that the proper way to lift engine, or do you guys have other methods. Just wanna get my ducks in a row before the plate comes. Thanks guys!

In case anyone else runs into this, this is what I came up with: piece of flat steel, few shackles , some grade 8 bolts, and some length of chain . I used a chain fall, just because I had one, but an engine hoist would work well also. Just figured id share since I didn't get any responses. Tight lines 20200512_131435.jpg
