rolling back to 2:20 on GPSMAP7610 question

Seems as though I have followed the procedure, insert card with version 2:20, hold power button till I get message recovery in process, but it stay there and never starts a download. Any thoughts...I had waited about 10 minutes and tried a second time with same results.

Reload the folder on the card, then try again

Ahhh brettw, we think alike. I tried that to no avail. I'm headed out the door to fish Striper as I update this using 2:33

Make sure you are "unzipping" the file onto your sdcard.

Thanks, John. Yes I did check that and was unzipped both times.

You just drag the folder called Garmin onto the card.

Make sure the card is formatted for Fat32.
