What brings bad luck on your boat ?
Starting to think my son going fishing with me is bringing us bad luck. Seem the only time I have problems is when he is along. He actually inquires what is going to happen the next time we go fishing ?
Engine problems,
Dead batteries,
Forgot about the kill switch
We don't catch fish when everyone else is slaying them
I catch fish and he doesn't even though we are doing the same thing.
So what brings you bad luck on your boat ?

bad luck for me is not fishing the moment when stuff is happening and i'm not paying attention. maybe my co catches a fish on top and i'm dragging something. bad luck is hammering spots instead of fishing whats good now. bad luck is staying on a spot for 1 hour without catching a thing bc i caught them there presighing or a T 5 years ago.
Long story short, bad luck (and I have to remind myself this every GD year, lol) is not fishing the moment and fishing the past!

There are many variances on the saying "The harder I work, the luckier I get." And I agree with that statement. Since you can affect luck with actions, it's no longer luck.
My take: Thinking that luck (good or bad) exists is the only way luck exists at all. It is literally all in your mind. It only "is" if you think it is.
I've had good days and bad days. I "earned" some of those, and some of them just happened.
