Governor Henry McMaster issued an executive order closing public access to all beaches, public boat ramps, landing and other access points to waterways

here is a list by county of public boat ramps. Anyone know of a ramp from Mccormick to Modoc that can be used?
    Thanks

I guess private boat ramps are a no/go now. If you're caught towing your boat I assume you will be fined for violating the stay at home order issued by the Governor.

I think it said exercise was ok. Big gray area, but I don't want to get fined or spend 30 days in the cooler.

Oh, you can trailer you boat to a private ramp, no problem there.

I believe the GA ramps are still open.

The order the Governor issued closing the boat ramps is a separate order from the one he issued yesterday. I don't think the Stay At Home order he issued yesterday allows for hooking up your boat and going fishing. That's just my take on it, I hope I'm wrong. I hate sitting at home when I could be out on the water.

The SCDNR facebook page says you can still go fishing - just have to abide by the distancing requirements. It is certainly confusing. I live on a lake and I am still going out by myself or with my wife.

I don't know what all this means. DNR told me yesterday morning I could take my boat to the lake to go fishing. Just couldn't use a public ramp. Also, COE opened Dordon & Modoc ramps but they said McMaster would release the Stay at Home order at 5:00pm. So now what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Checked with the Corp of Engineers for Thurmond & Clarks Hill. Modoc & Dorden ( fees are waived for now) are open and you can trailer to them under McMaster recreational order. 4 ramps are open Clarks Hill on the North end. Corp said they were about an hour from the south end (dam). Too far for me but you can call & get the locations if you need to. Hope that helps some of us.
