Lake Fayette open?

Was looking to make the 1.5 hour trip to the lake tomorrow. I tried calling the number for the two boat ramps there, but it says the office is closed.

Anyone know if one of the boat ramps opened?

Oak Thicket website says boatramp opened today, but no camping until 4-30. I would bet that changed, if no one answered the phone. Good luck.

I was at Fayette this morning at Park Prairie, there was a rope across the entrance saying park closed but the other side was open. There were about 10 boats ahead of me that went in and launched so I did as well.
When I went by there a couple hours later the parking lot was full.
At 1 PM a LCRA boat found me in a cove and told me the lake was closed and to check back in maybe a month.
When I got back to the ramp there was only 2 others left besides me, they had already run everyone else out.

Thanks for the heads up. Glad we decided to stay home and not make the trip to have to turn around and go back home.

Flew over the lake yesterday both ramps were empty.

Ive called the Lady at Park Prairie and spoke to her daughter on friday. They hadnt heard anything about reopening even with the new governors order.
They did take my cell # and said they had a list going and would call people when they found out if they were going to open
Its sunday night 11pm and still no word about it.

Yep she texted me at 6:30 am, was a good day today for numbers, my biggest was just shy of 6
