    Question Warranty Question

    Hey guys,

    I bought a Helix 12 DI G2N from my buddy. He had it registered in his name. It’s broken. To get warranty work done, can I tell Humminbird that I bought it from him or do I need to have him contact humminbird for me and get it done under his name? What is the best way to go about it?

    Humminbird products do not have a transferable warranty. Your buddy needs to do it.

    Warranty is based on the mfg date (first 6 numbers of the serial number) and/or the original sales receipt and is not transferrable.
