    2014 Ranger Z119c where is my thru hull transducer mounted?

    Where is my transducer located.....I have Lowrance and want to switch to Humminbird how hard is it to replace thru hull transducer? Wanting to do it myself due to backlog of shops locally

    In the bilge somewhere not far from the drain plug. No need to replace - if you don't want the Lowrance ducer just snip the cable leaving it in place and mount the new ducer in the same area. Mine is on the hull under the floor piece in the back compartment. Have to remove that plate to get to the ducer.

    LEVEL: If the spot you choose isn't level (keel pitch) you'll want to compensate.

    EPOXY: Use a quality 5 minute epoxy. Make sure you lay down enough to contact the entire bottom area. Most importantly, make sure the air bubbles are worked out of the epoxy before you set the ducer on it.

    SETTING: Get comfortable, 5 minutes laying on your belly, head halfway into the bilge area, holding the ducer level will seem like an eternity!
