    Question Elite 9 Totalscan Transducer Help.

    Lost my original totalscan tranducer when the wonderful plastic bracket that Lowrance assured me was suitable to use broke. I purchased and installed a new totalscan m/h 455/800 transducer and cannot get it to work. I’ve went in and selected the correct one under installation. When I go into network and data sources I have no option for water temperature and cannot get the unit to display depth. It’s almost like the unit is not recognizing the transducer. Checked connections.... Restored unit to default... Verified I’m running latest update. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Save waypoints, do a hard reset.

    When your transducer broke, did it come off the cable completely or break so that water might have hit the internals? If so you might have shorted your sonar and the unit will have to go in for a checkup.
