    My new 2020 RT188P. Ranger.

Just got this boat about 3 weeks ago, took about 8 weeks from order to delivery. Have only been out 3 times so far, expect to get out next week several times. So far, boat has exceeded my expectations in performance, speed, fishability, and ride. No slapping in waves or chop like the “old” metal Jon boats I have owned in the past. The Merc Pro XS came with a 23 Tempest prop, 80lb Fortrex, and I had the Hummingbird Helix 9 and 7 installed by the dealer. Love the side scan on the Helix 9. Still learning how to use and tweak these units, but so far love them. Did not push the boat to hard first two times out, had wife along , 1/2 tank fuel and all fishing gear. Got it up to 47 on the GPS and did not push it any harder. This past week I took it with full tank fuel, cool weather and nice little chop on the Harris Chain, pushed it once to 6100 RPM, GPS showed 51 mph, which is more than I expected, and will not run it here often, but nice to know it is there if you want to push it. I believe you could run this thing very comfortable , on pad, 40-45 mph all day long. The first day out with wife, mid afternoon, wind picked up enough to whitecap Lake Harris pretty good. Trimmed it down and ran 29-30 mph and boat ran great for several miles like this, no water coming over sides, really and impressive ride for a “Tin Boat “! Very pleased with my choice of aluminum boat.

That must be a new color scheme. I like it.

Congratulations, I would say "you gonna love it", but you already do...
The pad hull is an exceptional ride.

I bet the 188P will be a big seller, especially if they keep the cost below the Vexus product.

Sounds like a really really nice rig. I like the colors. When you fish from the front deck for a few hours, you will like it even more..
