    Just a regular knife?

White handled Dexter. Not sure where you live in SC, but find a restaurant supply store, you can probably get one for $15 or so. Easy to sharpen, takes a great edge.

Rapala...have been using them for years. I get the ones with a yellow wooden handle. really like the flex the knife gives you for filleting.

Wally World carries them...less than $20

I've always used Rapala and/or an electric filet knife.

My last one was a wooden handled rapala too. It lasted for years but lost it in a recent move. I wasn’t sure if there was something better out there or not.

I had a rapala flex for a few years. It snapped while I was cleaning a fish and almost ended badly. Haha. I did like the knife though.

The Bubba knives look good. I bought the Bubba cordless, and look forward to trying it out.

Best cordless out there. Absolutely love mine. For the price range of the OP, the rapala is a great knife.

I like mine although I admit I haven’t used it much. My friends that have the Bubba cordless all say it’s The best one they have ever used by a long shot.

That’s what I’m talking abt. Fits right in with my default mindset. If some is good, more is better.
