Since he’s backpedaling after getting called out, I’m curious why he avoided the jet ski question. Why were you bitching about them? What were they “not listening to”????

then you went on to your tough man comments about not being scared and pissing down your pant legs.

all this really is is you being pissy that you do not get the lake to yourself. The irony in this thread is through the roof. You don have to listen because you’re tough...the other fools trying to have fun with their families are the ones that need to listen

They will not close down our lakes with two people fishing in a boat. 2 people in a boat will not be fine or be a person filed as committing a crime.
That the entire reason of my post, people are not thinking. They crammed over 10 and that is against the law.
i personally do not want our lakes shut down over this virus stuff, but it will when those things happen and very soon.
My complaining is justified by what our law is now. For the record I’m not better than anyone, I’m just me and that’s the only person I answer too. Everyone else is the same in my book.
So they analogy of me complains about speeders doing 80 while I do 65, no, I was within the law, I was really doing 70 because that is the law on the interstate,
I get what your putting down. The optics of a filled to the brim pontoon is really bad and that is probably what will shut down the lakes. The reality of it tho is it only takes 2 people too close together that dont live under same roof to spread this. The fact is no one can be sure they are not carrying the virus. It only takes one. Again I do understand the optics of fully loaded boats is what will shut down the lakes. Hopefully b4 they shut down our lakes they will make a mandatory across the board 1 person per boat, will be fishing solo for as long as I can.

The optics of a pontoon with a bunch of people is really bad as is a crowded golf course. I don't think any governor wants that picture on youtube as it sends the wrong message to to the state.

Last night I was watching the state supported KY afield TV program and they were sharing how the game warden would approach you during the pandemic. I thought it was well done and showed how we can fish during this troubled time. I would not fish with anyone outside of my immediate house.

Family only. You are around them anyway! Only two people in a boat at a time. That’s the rule around here. But I don’t think people follow it. You can’t even make a post on here without someone trying to turn it on you. Real classy!

might want to read the posts....

yes, the 2nd person was family, but not family as in living in the same house and admitted to not following the 6' rule

I got family all over...some in high infection areas......you saying if they come here I can hang with them and not have to follow the rules ??

I’m guilty because I adhere to the 6’ circle. I can’t grasp the guilt here. We are allowed to fish or be on the water but stay your distance, which we did.
You did NOT adhere to the 6' circle rule when sitting 2' apart running the boat.

You're just mad because you're afraid that you will lose the ability to fish during this crisis, even though what you are doing is just as WRONG as the folks you're complaining about.

I'd be willing to bet that if I followed you around for a few days I'd find plenty to complain about ........

Really no different from speeders complaining about left lane hogs doing the speed limit.....

Both sides think they are right, but both sides are breaking the law.........

Yet they will argue which is worse until eternity ends.............

It's not hard to social distance and go fishing.....but if you are breaking the rules - any of them - don't go complaining about others doing the same as if you are right and they are wrong.

Not all that hard to go fishing and social distance.
Thanks for your words Mark...Agree with everything the way you put it...if we're all doing ALL we can while still trying to enjoy our sport...so be it. For Christ's sake...fast food DRIVE THRUS have been open throughout most of this...think of all the hand offs that take place prior to people even getting their food! Let alone the person at the window wasn't wearing gloves when she took your debit card or was much closer than 6 feet away when handing you your bag! NO, wife and I haven't done it since this started cuz of those reasons, but HOLY COW, how many Americans have! Especially in poor neighborhoods cuz that's the cheapest way for them to eat!! Just do the best you can guys...keep sanitizer close by as much as possible. Even wipe off your debit/credit cards right after you use them! It's all good

Unless it’s a pontoon or jet ski. Families can’t go on those. All this boils down to is butt hurt that I don’t get a lake to myself. Freaking selfish

Our fishing season is just opening here in New Brunswick. The rule here is no more than two people per boat who must live at the same civic address. We are to maintain at least six feet from people at the launch. Our cabinet minister in charge of Natural Resources is an outdoorsman and he says he will do his best to keep the season open as long as the anglers maintain social distancing.
