Can’t tell but second picture says it all! Guess second is over 5. The way he is holding it isn’t the easiest way to make one appear big so 5+

The first and second picture don't even look to me as the same fish. The first would suggest to me 3.5. The second would suggest in the range of 5. super fish and color is amazing on the second picture

Can’t tell in a photo. I have a pic of an 8.2 (weighed on a scale that was tested against my wife’s 2 state certified legal for business purposes digital scales). In the pic it looks no bigger than 4.5-5#. No way I’d post it here and put up with the beatdown from the BBC forensic photo team.

    Nice fish.

Hard to tell, I have a pic on file of my fishing partner holding a 6.06 in one hand and a 4.5 in the other hand. The 6 liber looks much bigger than the 4.5

Thanks everyone for chiming in. Like everyone said it is hard to tell by pictures. Now I have some new estimates.

That's an awesome fish! I cant guess weight since I've never weighed one. Next time try to get a measurement and you can get somewhat close. If you dont have a tape measure, hold it so its tail barely touches the ground and see how high it is on your pants, then measure that later. You can get somewhat close that way. Another trick is to measure you hand. I know my hand spread open is 10", and my last pinky joint is 1". It can get you in the ballpark, and comes in handy in life in general.

Hand will fit easily in the mouth of a 5 lber.
That mouth looks a little tight for your hand to fit.
    4+ lber.
