I've handled a few of them. Tip heavy, heavy in general, really did not feel good. The only thing I could think was, "I guess this is why they sell them in boxes..." I think you're paying for all the people they sponsor and all the advertising they do.

I can tell you despite the name they are the favorites of no one except their pro staffers. Just cheaply constructed and underwhelming rods.

Look at ALX. Multiple models and price points.

I've seen them since they first came out - nothing special and overpriced. They put all their money into sponsorships and YouTube videos. Don't waste your money.

That's what I took away from the ones I handled at Cabela's a while back. My 10 year old Abu Vendetta feels better for reference.

I'm a Powell guy, but have looked at ALX and like the huge selection they have in all categories. Phenix and Cashion are others I really like.

Not out to bash them... but have seldom heard good things outside of those that are sponsored

This! I've already spent enough money on different brands and these are where I've settled. Interestingly enough most of my casting rods are Dobyns but the spinners are split about 50/50.

These rods are ideal for those who:

    -wear flat billed hats
-follow the Googans and buy their gear
-live and die by YouTube fishing channels that provide zero fishing knowledge

There's a lot of companies making good rods right now; Favorite isn't one of them.
