12” Springfield or 10” slidemaster

I currently have a 12” springfield manual plate on my 1996 skeeter zx200c and i recently acquired a 10” slidemaster. Should i swap them out? Is one better than the other? Will i notice a neg performance by dropping to the 10” ?

The motor doesn't know or care what it's bolted to. The 12" will let you go higher if you have low water pickups. Unless you're going hydraulic, just leave it alone.
