Which Garmin unit do you recommend?
After reading some reviews of the current brand I use "cheaper" model units with side imaging capabilities I decided to shop other brands. This unit would be installed on a small bass boat that would be used 100% of the time on a small private lake. Transducer would be mounted on the trolling motor.
I dont really have a need for a built in mapping chip or GPS. I would like to buy it as a bundle versus tracking down a different transducer. Used is fine if it fits my needs. So if you have on PM me.
What I do need is: Down image and side image with transducer made for trolling motor mounting. 7 inch screen would work fine.
Thank you to anyone willing to recommend a model.

I would say the Garmin 93s Plus on sale at cabelas right now is a probably the best bang for your buck right now which would provide you with everything you need above. $599.99 The 7" is on sale as well for $449.99.
The newer UHD models are gonna have nicer images but you would have to determine if its worth the extra 4-500 bucks.

For a Garmin unit that does not have mapping then look at the Striker Plus units.
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/59...n/010-01874-00
Or the 93 Plus units will pop up on the electronic pages which is has gps maps but usally at the same price as the Striker Plus i listed above....
Here are a few used 93 Plus for sale:
