How Do You Keep Your Trick Steps From Being Stolen?

I am in the process of ordering trick steps for my boat trailer. I'm excited to get em but at that price, I was wondering if anyone has secured theirs so someone doesn't steal them off the trailer while gone fishing? Just wondering...

Yup, That's what Joe said at Trick Step. Spot weld the bolt ends on the nuts. I'll have to find a buddy who has a welder and owes me a favor....lol
    Thanks for the replies.

If they have bolts holding them on a battery powered saw will cut them off easy. You actually need to weld them to the trailer if your afraid someone will steal them.

Or with enough leverage just twist them until they shear off.

Thanks for the suggestions guys...I especially like the "AR 15" LOL... I know if someone wants to take it bad enough they can find a way, but I'd like to detour most of the guys with at least something that'd slow them down.

A warning shot usually works pretty well

So I installed the steps then took the trailer to a friend who put a bead of weld across the top of the bracket. Someone will have to want them pretty bad to get em off now. Thanks

Pretty much any high speed projectile will deter or stop the thief

I tend to go to only a few boat ramps to lower the chance of someone breaking into my truck or taking anything off the trailer.

That and good insurance are about all I can do.
