    WSJ alternatives

I have subscribed to the WSJ since 1974. My current subscription (print and digital) is up and rather than blindly renewing I thought I would ask what everyone here uses for their information. It would be very easy for me to drop the print and just go digital but given how things have changed over years I figured I ought to check out some alternatives.

Research Barron’s. To be candid, I’m not sure whether or not they still have the weekly paper magazine/newspaper as I dropped WSJ and their subscriptions years ago and went digital for several reasons...

I guess I should add that it is not company research that I am looking for. There are many websites that provide that information, including the WSJ free version.

What I am looking for is a replacement for the market and editorial content.

WSJ.com. I meant the free features like stock info.

I have subscribed to Barrons, and Investors Business Daily in the past. Never subscribed to WSJ, but have read a number that were laying around or I bought. Barrons is more like WSJ in a weekly version. I really liked IBD, but it is a lot to read every day.

I would never have thought to check out ebay. I am only interested in digital and I saw an offer for 5 years at $35.95.

What is going on here? Does someone have a subscription and they are selling you access with their ID and PW?
