Gaston access coming from Richmond?

Are the main access points Poplar or Pea Hill public ramps? Is one better than the other? Other options coming from north of the lake? Thanks.

I use the Henrico boat launch which is managed by the state game department and is in between lizard and pea hill.

That would definitely be better for getting on the main lake compared to the Pea Hill ramp.
