    Replacing the back deck

Looking at the treated lumber. I'm seeing standard and premium. Is there a big difference?

Usually has to do with the number and severity of knots. Yes, there's usually a pretty big difference. Why not composite? You will thank yourself later.

I would at least price out composite you might be surprised when you compare the total price. Trex has 3 levels of decking.

Im a contractor and we use alot of composite, alot of great products out there and cost have come down quite a bit. If you can swing it cost wise, definitely go composite

Go with composite - AZEK or Timbertech only.

Penski Board is a great composite. Very light weight and strong. Cuts like wood and holds screws like wood. Several builders have used it. Check with UScomposite.com or they might have a sister company closer to you.
