    On board Charger

In need of a new on board charger. 2 or 3 bank doent matter as i run 24 volt Ultrex. A 2 bank is what was in my boat so i used external charger for my starting battery so i can continue to do that if a 2 bank makes more sense. But the 2 chargers im looking at are the Pro Mariner Pro sport 3 bank 15 amp yellow and silver at cabelas for $130. Or i considered a Minn Kota 2 bank 10 amp. Does anyone have any experience with either? Pros and cons. Thanks for reading

On my older boats i always had Pro Mariners.....it seems they always went out when the 2 yr warranty was up.......finally wised up when i got current boat and bought the Dual Pro and going on 4 yrs now with no issues......as for the banks, i say have as many banks as you have batteries.

With the Trollbridge 12X24 the charger you currently use on your starting battery is all you need to keep all the batteries charged. A majority of Trollbridge owners report that the trolling batteries are fully charged by the time they get back to the trailer so you don't need high amp charging to restore them.
Skip the weight and cost of a marine grade charger and just use your clip on charger.

Get the 3 bank with as many amps as you can. Why mess with a separate charger when an on board will more than suffice.
