    Help finding new/used tilt trim

A friend of mine is needing to replace his tilt/trim assembly on his boat. This is what we are trying to find:

    1994 Evinrude 40hp model E50TLERE
    Hydraulic lift Assembly
    #0438135

Looking for leads on a mew/used/rebuilt unit.
    Thanks

I'd hunt for a blown motor on FB marketplace or CL and rob the tilt/trim from that and part out the rest. Ebay guys think they're gold

Don't know how you are doing your search's (part number only maybe) but I found them from $275-$800. Try looking for just 40hp omc/J/E tilt assemblies.

Thanks for all the info and help. I'll keep an eye out on fb and see if anything pops up. He said he was quoted 300 or so for a rebuilt unit with warranty from a place in Florida.
