MEGA DI+ OR SIDE IMAGING+

I am gonna buy a 10 or 12 inch mega unit to pair with a 360 mega transducer. does it matter if the unit is a DI unit or SI unit? either one will work the same with the 360 transducer correct? The only difference would be the DI units are priced less.

Either will work BUT it makes more sense to get the DI+ model since the MEGA 360 uses the SI circuits and the SI circuits in a SI transducer are not connected.
MEGA 360 REPLACES SI with a SI unit and ADDS SI to a DI unit.
