Winch on Boatmate trailer

Anyone replaced/upgraded the winch on a Boatmate? What did you go with?

I don't have a Boatmate trailer, But I took off the small wheel Bulldog winch and put a Fulton 6in wheel model... Works better for me.

Fulton F2 won't go on a Boatmate, I already tried that one

I cut off the bulldog bracket and welded it on to the Fulton2 jack … I have a CustomLine trailer though.

you talking f2 jack don't fit? I swapped out my winch the cover had a gouge in it , It was on the shelf at West Marine don't remember the part numbet.

I have, got it from Boatmate, somehow mine got hit in the parking lot, they sent me a new 1500lb instead of the 1400lb I had

Yea, I'm talking about the winch. The way the that triangle bracket going up to the bow roller is fully enclosed, the F2 winch wont go on there. I'm sure it would with modification

Thats the one I just ordered. Thats what was on it originally, but the gears stripped.

same one I have on mine but it's a 1500lbs, got it from Boatmate, think it was around $80 to $85
