Roll back gls 10 to version 2.10 help!

I need to roll back my gls10 to version 2.10.
I know someone described how to do this
I get stuck where it describes older versions but
I cant access them.

You cant do it thru the website, you would need to get the old file from someone that has it on their PC.

Brett, once you get the older install, use the instructions from Garmin Support for "Forced Update".

I just uploaded version 10-10 for the unit and GLS-10 v.2.2, which is the last known good version before they introduced perspective mode, which caused a lot of problems for folks. I just did this on my 93 sv plus unit and it worked perfect to roll me back to a stable version. Not sure what other units this will work on. I have to say I'm not too impressed with the Garmin release and how difficult it is to roll back. Why wouldn't they have the older versions to share when they have a bad release. The other thing I noticed is the procedure on their website to do a forced update is not correct, at least for my unit. For my unit you have to turn on the power and hold the #4 key.

The version I posted in that link was a couple versions back. I deleted that file. The one I posted in this thread is the last known good. I personally used it this weekend and it worked just fine.

Yep, 2.2 was the 1st Garmin update screwup.
Followed,in my opinion, by 2.3.
I want 2.10 which is what i had when i bought it.

2019.1030 version 2.20
Downloaded 2020.0218 - Never installed it - version 2.30
Downloaded 20200319 - Never installed it (Latest Update) - version 2.33

2.30 (introduced perspective mode)
2.33 (Fixed the 2.30 issues)

how do i tell which version my GLS10 is running? if I go to "my marine devices" it shows chartplotter 92sv v9.20 and panoptix live scope but nothing about the version? the update for livescope shows gls10 v2.33(v)
