Thumbs down SC Lakes and Rivers

So the governor just shut down all public access to our lakes and rivers based on the loaded crowds this past weekend, but everyone can still pack in Lowe’s and Walmart like sardines.

Found this out this morning trying to use my normal ramp. Luckily I was able to cross the Dam and use the GA side today. Can't say we didn't see this coming.

Ohio’s Gov. threatening to do the same. It’s always the dumb SOB’s that have to ruin it for everyone.

Unfortunate but necessary. Time to stay put, it sucks but if we do it now, it will be for the greater good later.

Kind of what I was thinking. Just seemed like everyone had the same idea to go fishing.

Son of a ... looks like I'm jumping northern border this weekend. Norman is still open right? Just can't go through Mecklenburg County to get there.

People packing on pontoons and cruisers. Tying up together like normal summer weekends on the lake. People were told to avoid these type of occurrences and they don’t listen so the state shut them down.

Apparently the sandbars and local on the water gathering spots have been slammed. He mentioned in a press conference last week that he would figure out a way to break that up.
