    Helix 12 HW G2N

Scheels is running a good price on these units, I am considering one. Will they link up with a gen 2 helix 12, or a gen 1 helix 10? Wanting to add another 12 at my console for mapping and sonar. Currently running a g2 12 at console and gen 1 10 at bow.

    thanks

Yes you can connect them with Ethernet, but sharing data is limited with a first generation 10 since it doesn't have CHIRP. Can share waypoints, GPS, Temp.
Another G2N is not issue. The only difference between the HW G2N and G2N is the 2D sonar.

Cool thanks, so I shouldn’t have a problem running them both at my console then (both 12s)? As long as I can share waypoints that will suffice for me.

Which trolling motor transducer works best with this model? Does Humminbird offer the transducer swap for this model?

You just need to get the trolling motor mount for the transducer you have.
