    New AVX1980CC!

Well after some false starts (boat shipped from factory, then my dealer closed on the same day due to the coronavirus) I finally got my hands on my Vexus AVX1980CC! Couldn't be happier! Now I just need the weather to cooperate for a test drive...

    That's a sharp looking boat

You fishing salt or brackish water with it?

Believe it or not, it will be primarily for freshwater bass fishing (although I will probably venture into the Chesapeake occasionally for stripers). I fish the Susquehanna river alot so I like to stand for better visibility. Started off looking at forward center consoles and then traditional center consoles (all on modified vee hulls), then bay boats with pad hulls - which is where Vexus finally caught my eye.

Thanks! And sure can. Just need to wait for the river to drop a bit before I can get her out. 6-8' high and full of debris right now.

Got it out on the river yesterday. Not ideal conditions as it was extremely windy and the river was 7 feet high. Got 50mph out of her with 2 people and 15 gallons of gas in the tank.

Nice. I'm sure that boat/motor has a bit more to it. I have the same boat with a Merc 150 and with a full tank and another person I'm getting 57 in really good conditions. I love that white motor on that boat.

Went out today to try my Brother-in-Laws boat and man is it nice. Very
fast hole shot and good ride. 3 people and tank full of gas saw 50mph.
