    Prop selection

Been running bass boat for awhile and just been thinking about props thinking there has to be something better out there so I have been looking at different props with the same measurements as the raker II 14 1/2 x 26 that I am running now.Question is this can I run any prop I want as long as the hub is correct and the right rotation.Running a 2006 225 etec on a stratos 201 pro xl.I have tried a raker 14 1/2 x 24 and it digs to much with partner in boat. Any help will be appreciated

get a merc quick hub and a merc prop. will be better performance and easier to dial in likely merc props require an adapter to use on rudes

OP, What do you mean by digs too much. There are a lot of guys here that will be able to help you but we all will want to know a few things first.
Max RPM's and speed (GPS) with current set up?
What is your prop to pad measurement?

I too like Mercury props much better than OMC/Evinrude props. I also like the Michigan Wheel #200 hub kit much better than the Merc hub kit. Just google the hub kit and you will find plenty of places on line to buy it.
