Ultrex hard to lift out of water to stow.

Any way to adjust mount on ultrex so it will stow easier. Hard to lift out of water sometime. Seems to be binding.

Mind was doing that I just step on the mount up by the bow that little bit of pressure makes it lift up easy. Worth a try

More info on a fix . Wish it lowered like the lowrance . I feel like the gas piston doesn’t do jack

the mount probably has a twist in it and needs to be adjusted by loosing the bolts on the mount from front to back. Trying to lift and store after each attempt to loosen the bolts.

You probably have bad pivot bushing at the pivot point of the upper arm.

That would be my first guess.. pull the side covers off and look to see if the torx head screws are loose.

If the section of the boat where it's mounted isn't flat you may have twisted the mount when you tightened it, causing it to twist and thereby causing it to bind. Take a torpedo level and compare the hull to the mount, there is a Utube video on this, check it out.
