Hit a log, prop not turning

    mdl #:1117F531D
    ser #: 2B396789

Hit a log. Motor is running fine but no get up a go. Thought I had a sheared pin but after a little research there is no shear pin. That tells ya how long ago I've worked on an outboard.

What parts do I need? Where can I order?

2016 Mercury Pro XS CT 115, 13 x 31 (no idea what this is), 2.38:1

Any help would be appreciated. Would like to be back on the water Friday.

    13 X 31 is your gear ratio 13 divided into 31.

You most likely spun the hub in your prop. Any prop shop can replace it.

Probably just need the hub kit, they don't press in anymore either. You might want to check for a bent prop shaft.

Good point Ben. Unless the prop is old, although I think Power Tech may still have some rubber hub props. Regardless you are correct about just a hub kit being the likely solution.

They'll need to know which hub type you have (FT-II, FT-III or FT-IV). Suggest a picture of all of the hub components.

Dons previous post got me thinking....Don’t mean to hijack the thread.... but Is there an easy way to determine what hub type I have?

Better yet- post a picture in your own (separate) thread to avoid confusion.
