    Accessing Water Fuel Seperator

    2015 150 Mercury Pro XS 2 stroke

    Going to be replacing the water fuel seperator on my engine this spring. How do you access the filter, boats coming home from storage this week. Do i have to remove the lower part of the cowling? Couldnt find a video, all 4 strokes

    Remove upper cowl to access filter. I use a strap wrench to loosen and remove filter - painless.

    Don't forget to lube the seal with 2-4-C grease (or vaseline).

    Don't have access to the serial number right now, up north the boat gets put in storage for the winter otherwise I would, sorry about that.
