    trolling motor breaker

The little grey breakers in the pic are marked that the copper post attaches to the battery and silver post to the trolling motor. But if installed this way, on the metal bracket that attaches to the battery post, there's no possible way to get a finger on the little black reset button if it trips. My existing breaker was "backwards" with the silver post to battery side (either from the factory or previous owner) so I can access the button. Is this a problem?

I had the same problem. Use a short #6 jumper between the battery and breaker.

Sure, I can do that, but it's strange that it isn't designed properly. Thanks for reply

After seeing pics online of these little grey breakers installed, it looks like most are backwards (the copper post and black reset button are not on the battery side as they're supposed to be. So, guess it doesn't matter?
