I had a CT scan done a few weeks ago and found out I have a TFCC cartilage tear in my right wrist. Doc says I need surgery, but can't do it until the virus mess is over (which I fully understand). In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out how I can fish (which so far we can still do). When I fish it really hurts to set the hook on a worm or jig. Crankbait is okay. That night my hand and wrist will be a little swollen and painful. I'm sure several have had a torn wrist cartilage. Would a splint/brace help? Any suggestions welcome except stop fishing which I really don't want to do. 4 to 6 weeks after the surgery with a splint and no fishing, so want to get in all I can before.
