carpet protectant spray?

im wanting to put some kind of protector/sealer on the new boat carpet.any suggestions?will the 303 work for that also?

Personally, I wouldn't put anything on it !! My boat is 18 yrs old and still has the original TAN colored carpet. I keep a small nylon fingernail brush in the boat and when I get blood on it, I use water and the brush then blot with a hand towel. I also go to the $1 car wash and wet it good, then use the Scrubby Soap brush, then rinse real good and varuum it. I do this a few times a year or when ever it starts to show the dirt. I usually fish 4-6 days a month up until this Virus thing.
