Transom Saver - Changing Motors

I am going from a 250 Pro XS 2S to a 250 Pro 4S. Will my current Swivel-Eze fit the new motor?

It will if you put solid plastic plugs in the sockets where they will contact the trim pads. I mad a pair out of Delrin to fit.

Does that mean no cups or just harder material?

The new plastic parts needs to sit on the trim pads (where the trim rods push on the midsection) so the cups on the end of the support need to be filled and the insert protrude from the end.

I just made the same switch.. I tried my original, but it didn't have enough support, and going down the road the motor turned.. I had already bought the one Russell marine offers and it is twice the mount.. Plus it comes with the steering clips.

I run a DD26 Mean Mount, it is a beast. Powder coated and top grade components, wont bend or rust etc. Worth the investment
