    Bravo XS Questions

Guys, I bought a new 26p BravoXS prop for my 2017 Eyra w/ a Merc 250 pro xs 2 stroke. For anyone that has used/uses this prop, did you use any pvs plugs or leave all of the holes open? What size plugs did you use? I'm looking for a better hole shot with a tournament load, I'm not worried about losing a few mph on the top end. My boat is heavy on the back end with 4 batteries & power poles

I ran one occasionally on my Puma and on my current Sabre. 6 open holes and 2 plugged solid. It worked great on both setups. I do run lighter than most without Poles and only 3 batteries.

I don’t have all the plugs open, I think two have plugs in them but will check. I’ve been running the Bravo XS for a couple of years, 17 Eyra. I tried different configurations and this is what worked best for me.

I run a 27 bravo xs on a 2018 Eyra 250 pro xs and run it with 4 holes open and 4 holes with plugs that have smaller holes. Tried it with all 8 holes open but it slipped too much at lower rpms. This set up puts rpms around 3800 - 4000 for hole shot.

I also run mine with 4 holes open and four with the plugs with the holes which are pretty big. If I remember correctly the Bravo XS only comes with the fully closed plugs and the ones with the large size hole. I’m not sure it makes any difference but my four outer holes are open, four inner holes have the plugs.
