Ram 1500 vs Sierra 1500

Proven to what? Every Hemi powered vehicle we've had has had severe engine problems.

1) Frozen roller bearing on lifter
2) Frozen roller bearing on lifter leads to flat cam
3) Frozen roller bearing on lifter leads to flat cam and in turn complete cam failure (actually snapped in half)
4) New long block.

Five out of five have had these issues. Four received new long blocks and one a new cam/lifters. (under 60K miles) These engines see severe service and have failed miserably. FCA is well aware of the design flaw in their lifters. Heck, even our AFM 5.3 Tahoe's outlive the Hemi's twice over.

Went out to garage and hooked up the trailer.

Honestly you can see a lot more detail with the rearview mirror set in the camera mode. You can change it to just the mirror but I like it in the camera mode. To answer the question, I can see the motor a lot better but still hard to see anything directly behind the boat. I can see in my boat like on the deck a ton better but directly behind the boat is still too far too see detail

The Ram trucks with cameras have views to the side also. Do they come on automatically when you turn on the blinkers, or is that blind spot protection just some sort of flashing light?

Blind spot protection is a ding type of sound. I have 360* camera on mine but it's just an overhead shot when you're backing up, and you can't get 360* camera with tow mirrors.

So are you saying that on the Ram turning the blinker on does not activate a camera to that side?

On my Laramie it does not. I can’t say for a fact on the higher models that it does or doesn’t.
