My brother picked his up three weeks ago, he is liking it a lot. He had an older 15ft Arrow Glass with a 115 Rude, thing hauled the mail but he would never take it anywhere because in his mind the 1985 outboard was ready to go at any time. Got the 50 on his and has been all over the lakes now, I told him about the guy on here that put a 9 gallon tank in his. He was all for it before this virus and his job cut him back to 30 hours.

We got the 50 hp on ours. A little over 13k out the door. My son and I bought it together, nothing like time on the water with family.

The guy that put the 9 gal tank in his Classic is me. Best of the upgrade's I've done so far. Tell him when he get's the chance to put a 13 or 14 pitch Spitfire aluminum prop on it also. The 4 blade prop and additional 3 gal's really extend's your range. The Spitfire allow's you to cruise around 26-28 mph on plane @ around 4k rpm.

I'll be picking up my new 2020 Classic XL Tuesday and they don't have the 9 gallon tank I wanted them to put in it at the store yet so I will likely be putting it in myself later. How much trouble was it replacing the original 6 gallon tank with the new 9 gallon one?
