    Minn Kota Maxuum Stuck on HIgh

    Minn Kota Maxuum stuck on high.
    Purchased New August 2019 and used about 10 times.
    While prefishing today speeds would jump from low-med up to high occasionally. Then it stuck on high speed no matter what you select.
    Any ideas or items to check?

    I had this happen to me years ago with a transom mount.
    After a long ride at full tilt the wires inside the head unit got so hot they melted and shorted out so it bypassed everything and stayed in high.
    I didn't have a breaker.
