Well spent 4 hours on the water and the bass were practicing social distancing for sure ,there were 5 boats out there 3 of us came in at the same time no fish for any of us and the other guy got 2 small bass and the last had 2 pickerel and a short. Water was 47 and a stiff NNW wind 15 to 20 I had 2 over 4 lbs follow my bait right to the boat but wouldn’t commit tried everything after but no takers

Twitch .... try not doing your usual haunts and baits .. perfect time to learn a few new things or areas .. I broke my usual spring pattern and it’s paying off pretty good ... found some new areas and baits I would never try this time of year because of old faithful jerkbait and jig would put them in the boat consistently

Good idea JerryT hard to teach an old dog new tricks that is one of my downfalls, with no tourneys now till at least May 4th I will be going to a lot of ponds that I don't usually get to fish because the T's are usually always the same old bodies of water because of the number of boats in them,so I will be hitting some smaller waters and trying new things for sure thanks for the info and reminder...lol
