    heat shrink for spike

    what size heat shrink do i need thinking about putting blue on them to match the boat

    just did mine yesterday and used a heat gun and 1 inch off of amazon that was $8

    I did that, get some thicker material, 1" is fine. I got mine from Cable Ties and More. They make heat shrink with adhesive too so you can get that. I recently replaced my spike and the new spike was fully encapsulated with a rubber coating, the old one you needed a spike wrap so anybody that touched it did not get fiberglass splinters in their hands.
