    All Daiwa Tatulaś make noise

I have recently bought 3 Tatulas (2 TW SVś) and one Tatula 100. All 3 make the same noise. Iḿ not sure how to describe it other than it sounds like line crunching when I cast. They aall work great, but anyone else notice a sound like that.

No...probably have 2 dozen Tatula Elite Long Cast and Pitch and Flip and none do it. Have had a pile of all Tatula models over the years and none have done it.

Probably the inductor is stuck intermittently?

Everyone of mine made noise when fishing below about 45 degrees. Used WD40 to spray out the factory oil from the spool bearings and then added a drop of reel butter or Abu oil tool them. No noise since. Mine was more as BemisBasser described above. Noise during the cast.

Yes my tat sv sv makes noise on cast. Found youtube vids of the same issue. Others on TackleTour site have had the noise on cast with tat sv.

Had a Tatula sv that did this. Was very loud but didn’t seem to affect the performance of my reel. I took the reel apart and reoiled and lubed and no problems since.

I just bought a Tat 100 and it seems fine... no unusual noise that I've noticed. Just your standard casting noise.

    It's more serious than that!

I have 2 TTU100H's that both make noise on long casts. I can take out the bearing in the side plate, clean and re-oil it and they're fine for a while, but eventually get noisy again. Contemplating ordering some better bearings for them. Other than that, they're super smooth and quiet on the retrieve.
