4 Stroke 250 ProXs Cold Seizure?

Model:12500033A Serial:2B738221 I just purchased a V8 250 ProXS and I am currently in the break-in process. A friend of mine has 250 Optimax that the mechanic warned him about could seizure if it is not properly warmed up. I understand this is a common concern with the Optimax. Is cold seizure something I should be concerned with or is this more of a two stroke issue?

I have a 200 4s and I let mine warm to 140F before taking off.

The potential is there with any engine (less likely in a 4-stroke but still possible). Always warm the engine up to operating temp.

I noticed my 200 warms up pretty quick tho compared to the optimax i had. Used to be a drag sometimes on cold days waiting for 125 degree minimum. I usually let this motor get to 130s or more which is pretty quick at idle.

Exactly ---- One of the first things I noticed this winter with the new V8, it warms much faster in cold water than my 300XS
I seized a 2008 300XS So I was extremly cautious with the newer one..
