    Quick Eyra/300R update

    Ran a 30 Pro Max today and almost got to the mark I want to cross! If the water conditions would have been slightly better I think I would have busted the 90 mark. I like the Pro Max once I get past the hole shot. Hole Shot was horrible. Mid range and top end was fun. Also to note....I took the motor up to about 1.25 above pad and that is when she ran from 84 to 88 and fast. I may play with it a little more this week end but I will have a 30 Pro Max on the for sale board this weekend. Next acquisition will be a Max 5 ST or a Hill Drag 5 Modified. The Quest continues

    Nice running. I had a 30 promax on my 19 but it was on a 250R. Like you I wasn;t happy with the holeshot. Unless I was by myself with a light load in the cold weather. It did pull like a mother on the midrange though and not bad topend. I can tell you I think you'll love a max5. I have a 30.3 max 5 (non-st) on my new boat and it performed extremely well this past weekend with a heavy t load, 2 on board, full fuel, full livewells. Planes off MUCH flatter than a promax and does so much quicker. Handles rough water like a dream. Pulls hard, great cruising speed/per/rpm and good topend. No downside in any aspect. (other than the price of course:/ )
