Stronger reverse lights. Installed these recently and wow what a difference on dark ramps, getting in my driveway and storage unit. CD2848D3-8F25-4942-BC4C-C8C241CD4FC4.jpeg9E353747-36A9-4E74-8225-2A980EDCDB3D.jpeg

Care to share a link for the best $35 lights?
Thanks
I didn’t say best $35 lights. I said best $35 upgrade.

I’ve been wanting to add backup lights to my trailer. A couple of the ramps where I launch have no light at all unless it’s clear sky and a full moon. I might wait until my work situation is stable before I spend money on any nonessential upgrades. Thanks for the link!

Nice! I put a set of flush mounts in the bumper of my truck that lights up the whole ramp and boat. I used the Niilights off ebay. Cheap addition. Connected them to a a relay from my reverse lights as well as a switch in the cab. Makes boat prep a lot easier in the dark as well as backing with or without the boat.

The more lights the better, night vision is going as I age. I may added amber lights under the front of my trailer and red under the back to add some ground lighting for the trailer while going forward in tight areas. I find it hard to see the tires and curbs at night when trailering in parking lots and ramps.

If the lights don't illuminate 2-3' to the SIDE of the trailer they are worthless. The stock ones that came on my Rangertrail were just backup indicator lamps and did nothing for back up visibility. I replaced them years ago.

So do they just wire into the back up trailer light wire.
Yes.
If your trailer has surge brakes/7 pin plug requirement to activate the lockout so you can back up, you already have the wiring on the trailer.
Thanks my trailer doesn’t have brakes so it should be easier.
The Gatorbak bunk lighting takes care of the rest. Ray Charles can load with these on..
