I'm also having a little trouble propping mine as well. But I'm on 1:75-1 gears. Same boat with a 300R.

My bravos like 1/2" to 3/4" above the pad. Sounds like too much venting, plug two pvs holes and try it. Sending it to Croxton and having it set up for your boat would help too.

Those 300r's like that hi dollar maxx 5 , might could try a 30 promax.

The 300R. And 30 Bravo combination. When the boat breaks over it slips so bad I've had to set back down and start over. It's got 8 PVS holes all plugged except 2 small hole plugs. I'm going to try a 31 hydromotive next.

My Bravo will slip when the bow breaks over if I have the plate up around 1.5" above. If I lower the plate for hole shot it does much better. 8 pvs holes, two plugged. But I'm running a 300xs not R. Seldom have I seen a Bravo work well for a Bullet without having it worked. Mine is A 29xs worked by Croxton.

I think I'll like the motor after I get the props right. It's really a strong low end motor. When the 30 bravo finally gets hooked up its running 87.4 loaded to fish with almost full fuel and a passenger. on the limiter it's got plenty more just have to get it propped right.

I'm going to try my big hydromotive Saturday at the lake and see how that does. And I've already talked with mark Croxton if that doesn't work.

i have a 19SST with Reynolds float plate 7in and 6in hydro. 1.62 sporty, and a Criss Bailey hydrofoil.Run 30 pitch promax lab finishon a 300xs with ram air cowl by Criss Dunn.no hole shot problem. Porpoising problem went away after the hydrofoil. The hydrofoil changed my boat for the better good holeshot, and no porpoising. Reynolds Racing float plate works wonders on take off and stopping also.

The 31hydro was not good. The prop slipped extremely bad as soon as the nose started to break over. The water was way to bad to try a speed run.
