YGK x2, there is no equal. I have used all other options and this one throws it further than you want to reel in back in....great stuff

I do a LOT of finesse fish'n and I've put A LOT of trial and error into figuring out a system that works best for me. That being said, these are my set ups:

Dropshot, Wacky Rigs, and Spybaits: 10lb Suffix Nano Braid and and a 6lb-8lb Tatsu leader.

Shakeyheads and Neko Rigs: Straight 8lb Tatsu.

Suffix 832 works for me so no reason to change.

The fluro leader is a must IMO! For several reason abrasion, stealth, stretch, Etc. Did I sat a must?

Power pro is my go to and I’ve tried a ton of them. Cheap at Walmart and always available.

Super slick breaks on casts and gets too many wind knots. Suffix 832 breaks way too easily. Fireline gets too many wind knots. Spider wire has horrible casting and I’ve broke Off on casts before. Seaguar Kanzen had horrible tension strength. Hi seas I just didn’t care for.

I guess I am in the minority but the Daiwa Jbraid X8 has been my favorite so far. I have tried Smackdown, PP, and Suffix and I haven't found any of them that I like better than the Jbraid. I am on my 2nd year with some of my rods and I am still really liking it. I use a Fluoro leader and what I am doing determines what size. I have been using a lot of FC Sniper in 8lb for my leaders lately and I am really liking it so far.

Very surprised nobody said Nanofil line. By far the best braided line for spinning applications. Not much guide noise and will out cast most braided lines. Super smooth , small diameter, good knot strength.

Good for all but power techniques.

How is it using a FG knot?

Power Pro Slick with a Tatsu leader. 6# or 8# also like the Power Pro in vermilion red.

10lb Berkley Nanofil is on almost all of my spinning reels. I've caught bluegill and crappie with it using a 4lb leader and up to 35" redfish with a 20lb leader. Close your bell manually and don't reel when fish are pulling drag and you'll never have wind knots. It casts a mile and is tough as nails. It's slick so be sure to practice your leader knots. On larger line I'll tie a 40 twist bimini to double it up, then tie a modified albright.

I have a small swimbait/grub spinning rig spooled with Nanofil. It casts a country mile.

I find Nanofil frays easily around docks and rocks. But if you need a long cast in open water, it is a great line!

SX1 is the only one I’ve used on spinning and it seems to work well. My issue is knots, Alberto seems to grab guides and knot breaks and leader goes flying. Any ideas on that appreciates. I can’t seem to tie that other knot that goes through guides better, need to practice more I guess

Gamma Torque is my favorite by far. I’ve tried them all mentioned above except YGK 2. Torque is pricier but worth it. Tatsu or invisx for leader.
