    Ghost on a 21HP

For those of you that have put a ghost on your tritons, did you need a wedge underneath it?
I know some Triton owners used them with the Ultrex and I want to know if I go with the Ghost will I need a wedge?

In in the process of installing a Ghost on my 1999 TR-21, and it doesn't appear that a wedge is necessary.

I have one installed without wedge. But I’m not so sure that’s a gimmick anyway honestly. I can drop shot with the best of em and never have needed a wedge. The cone is wide enough at depths that it picks up my baits no matter where I drop them in relation to sonar, fish, & bait.

To go beyond that we also catch yellow perch deep in the winter months and again, never an issue for me and always shows everything that’s going on.
