    Fayette still open

Went today and last thursday and still no signs about closing.
I decided the last 2 trips to focus on my jig fishing. Im not real good at it, so why not.
Didnt catch alot of numbers but did catch these two. I know they arent giants but I was happy with them.
Most were in the 2- 3 pound range, with a couple of 3's and 4's and a 5

I went yesterday. Guy working in check-in booth said there has been zero talk of closing.

Texdyna65, were you in reeds or trees? Water is up about 1’ and I finally thought some reefs had enough water to fish and caught a couple in reeds, but wanted to throw a Ned rig for first time so changed spots. Caught a lot of sub 2lbrs.

I was in trees those two trips. I went today and caught around 30, biggest was a 5 caught on a rattletrap. I did catch a few in the reeds pitching a swim jig, most were in the trees on a jig and I caught a few deep on a carolina rig.
Like you, most of the ones today were sub 2lbers
